Learning How to Play the Violin
The violin is one of the most common instruments used for playing classical music. Although this is the case, there are also some who has managed to bring the wonderful sound of violin into a much modern genre.
Wouldn’t it be nice if you too could play it? And wouldn’t it be satisfying to know that you have worked hard to earn something – this time a skill, playing the violin. There are many different guidelines on how to go about learning how to play the violin. But it all boils down to these important guidelines:
• First, you need a good teacher to teach you how to play. When I say teacher, it could also mean books or other written, audio or video materials that will show and teach you how to play the violin. You need this teacher to have the best system possible for you to learn. It doesn’t matter if they don’t have any special tricks to show you, all it matters is their ability to convey their knowledge to you.
• Second, you must be consistent with your practices. Learning anything, especially playing the violin, needs an ample amount of time for practice every single day. What ever your activities are for the day, a time must be set for a practice so you may learn and retain what you have learned in playing the violin. In practicing, you also need the right place for it. You will need a place which is devoid of any distractions so that you can concentrate on the task at hand. Always remember that constant correct practice makes any performance perfect.
• Lastly, you need to find within yourself the passion to play. This is because; there will be times when you may feel discouraged. Times like this can easily side track you from your original goals. Especially during times when you feel like you are not making any progress at all, quitting will seem like an attractive option. During these times, only the passion that you have for your music and the faith that you have for yourself maybe the only strength that will keep you going.
